So, the inevitable has happened. Harry and Meghan are returning to the UK this month, sources have confirmed! In short, to use a Punjabi expression, jithon di khoti, uthay aa khaloti! The couple’s exit from the UK was referred to as Megxit, when it took place in 2020, vowing never to return. As they say, famous last words!
They were under the impression that the United States would welcome them with open arms and Meghan had high hopes that from a B-grade starlet, she would become an A lister, due to her connection with the royal family. Harry, always a wild child, was warned against marrying this lady by his family, especially his elder brother, but turned a deaf ear and what transpired is for everyone to see!
The two wannabes thought that they could trash the royal family and make big bucks; there was the famous interview with Oprah Winfrey, which they thought would win them sympathy votes, but alas! Nobody has got anywhere by trashing their own flesh and blood. Meghan’s over confidence and cockiness proved to be her undoing and slowly, all the endorsement deals they had signed or were hoping to sign fell through one by one!
The money began running out, any hopes of resuscitating her Hollywood career was dashed; in fact, there was a video where Meghan’s so called best friend, Serena Williams’s mother, pointedly ignores her, much to her growing embarrassment. With no talent, education or looks to speak of, maintaining and sustaining such a lavish lifestyle was a huge drain on their rapidly dwindling resources. Apparently, their neighbours in Montecito have breathed a sigh of relief at the news of this wannabe couple relocating to the UK.
What is glaringly obvious is that an individual’s background is of great consequence; Meghan was a social climber and was born on the wrong side of the tracks. She thought she had hit the jackpot by marrying the spare of the Royal family and had high hopes of using this royal connection to resuscitate her fledgling career in films. The spare was ensnared by this gold digger, who as mentioned earlier, was clearly told that this woman was not suitable for the royal family. However, Harry has always been something of a rebel but with no looks, education or talent to speak of and his only claim to fame being the spare of the royal family, he soon realised which side his bread was buttered.
Not content, she decided that she was going to live life on her own terms. She wanted to encash this connection with the royals, while belittling and trashing them. Her policy was to divide and rule! She very cleverly created rifts within the royal family and isolated her 'better half.
To add insult to injury, he lost his court case in the UK and the Brits refused to foot the bill for his personal security, while visiting the United Kingdom, citing the fact that he was no longer a working royal. The sense of entitlement that this couple has is just mind-boggling; after trashing the royal family right, left and centre and hoping to use this as their trump card in the US, the two now return with their tail between their legs after being shunned by the Americans!
