Fact Check: Is Netflix Releasing A Documentary On Corruption In Pakistani Politics?
It has emerged that 'Behind Closed Doors' —the documentary about corruption in Pakistani politics that several Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders have been alleging that Netflix is 'releasing soon' has not yet even begun production and is still crowdsourcing funds.

Behind Closed Doors is described as 'a film about corruption in high places and those who enable it' on the producers YouTube channel. Among the contributors listed on the YouTube description, as well as the website, are PTI chairman Imran Khan, Fawad Chaudhry and journalist Irfan Hashmi.

PTI leaders including Fawad Chaudhry, Shireen Mazari and Taimur Jhagra have been tweeting out trailers of the film, alleging that it will be available to watch soon on streaming platforms Netflix and Amazon Prime.

However, a GoFundMe linked on the website and the YouTube channel of the documentary appears to be collecting funds for the production of the film, leaving many doubtful about the veracity of Netflix green-lighting this project. Moreover, Netflix has allegedly denied association with the film.
