The Citizens Archive of Pakistan (CAP) welcomed a delegation from the Aga Khan Cultural Service Pakistan to the National History Museum (NHM) for an interactive and engaging visit to discuss potential collaborations.
The delegation included Mr. Tausif Khawaja, Chief Executive Officer and Mr. Syed Abbas Hussain, Communications Specialist of Aga Khan Cultural Service Pakistan (AKCS-P).
During their visit, the delegation was greeted by the Museum Director Ms. Mehr Husain and then given an extensive museum tour by Ms. Aliza Khalid, Museum Manager, where they engaged with the museum's interactive digital displays, including "Camera from the Past" and the Virtual Reality exhibits.
"I greatly admire the museum's commitment to preserving and promoting history and culture in such an interactive manner, as well as its vital role in educating the public," added Mr. Khawaja.
Both parties explored ways to work together to further their shared vision of advancing historical education and cultural heritage.
NHM, Pakistan’s first digitally interactive museum, is managed in collaboration with the Government of Punjab and the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA), Lahore. It continues to serve as a cultural hub, offering engaging programs for students, families, artists, and academics alike.
