Lower Dir: Police in Lower Dir achieved a major breakthrough after safely recovering abducted minor girl Dua Rehman following a series of extensive search operations across the district.
According to police officials, the rescue operation was personally led by District Police Officer (DPO) Lower Dir, Taimur Khan PSP, who supervised every stage of the search and coordinated with multiple police teams deployed in different areas. After hours of continued efforts, the police successfully traced and recovered the girl unharmed and later handed her over to her parents.
However, the suspect involved in the kidnapping managed to flee. Police confirmed that the accused has not yet been arrested but said that efforts to track him down have been intensified. Raids are being conducted at various suspected locations, and teams have been assigned to ensure his swift arrest.
DPO Taimur Khan expressed gratitude to the public for their cooperation during the operation. He stated that the police are fully committed to arresting the culprit and bringing him to justice in accordance with the law.
The recovery of the girl has brought relief to her family and the local community, while the hunt for the suspect continues.
