According to Dunya (September 4, 2014) the 20 cameras that the PTV administration has reported damaged in the attack on its headquarters in Islamabad included those that were out of order or so old that they were not being used, to seek more compensation.

Woman divorced for sending daughter to Qadri’s march
Nai Baat reports (September 5, 2014) that a man divorced his wife for sending their daughter to Tahirul Qadri’s protest in Islamabad. He said he had been unhappy with his wife and three daughters going to Minhajul Quran events. When the girl returned home after 26 days and he asked her why she had left home without permission, he said said his wife and daughters beat him up, ripped off his clothes, and then called 15 accusing him of violence.
Jamshed Dasti’s mother refuses to allow him to resign
Reported in Jang (September 5, 2014) parliamentarian Jamshed Dasti, who had recently joined the PTI, declined to resign from the National Assembly saying his mother had stopped him from doing so. He left the protests in Islamabad and flew to Dubai.

Marriage certificate tempered to increase dowry
Reported in Express (September 6 2014) a court asked police to register a complaint against five people for tempering with a man’s marriage certificate to change the money he owed to his wife (Haq Meher) from Rs 1,000 to Rs 100,000.

Meera offers to marry Imran Khan
Reported in Nai Baat (September 7, 2014) actress Meera has offered to marry Imran Khan and says she wants to see him become the prime minister. She also suggested a Sherwani designer to the cricketer turned politician.
Imran Khan declines Meera’s proposal
Reported in Jang (September 8 2014) Imran Khan has declined Meera’s marriage offer with an apology. He says he is busy making a new Pakistan right now and is not in a position to consider the offer at this time.
