Talking to the local media, Suhai Aziz Talpur said that they had so far interrogated the class fellows of the late Fahmida Laghari and those who were close to her across the University.

She further said they were also probing into the conduct of Professor Laghari in the University, besides inquiring into the causes that pushed the late student into distress. She added that they had also sought details of the complaint filed before concerned University officials against Professor Abid Laghari by the deceased.

Meanwhile, SSP Rajper mentioned that the statements of key witnesses had been recorded and the investigation team had also met the parents of the deceased to get detailed information about her daily life. She added that an anti-harassment cell should be set up in every institution of higher education across Sindh. She reiterated that they would conduct the inquiry thoroughly and from all angles so that nothing is left behind.
