Diary of a Social Butterfly
Just look at these goras, I swear. Election in UK only two days old and already the leaders who lost have gone and resigned. Ed Rubberband, Neck Clegg and also that Nigel Siraj, bhai voh You Skip wallah leader nahin hai, who hates migrants. Vaisay, I think so Nigel Siraj has taken his resignation back now – like all those PTI kay beghairat MNAs who made such a hoo ha about resigning and then slunk back into the National Assembly.

Even the Indians who are so proud of being the world’s biggest democracy, unko tau dekho. Rahul Gandhi gets thrashed to a bulb by Moody’s BJP in the election and instead of resigning what does he do? He treats himself to a long leisurely holiday in Thigh Land. Ji haan. Voh bhi, at a spa or something. So while all the people who voted for him and worked themselves to the bones for him are sarrhoing in the heat, he’s relaxing on the beach. And then he swans back in without even apologising or anything. What cheeks, no?

Apart from the resignations, vaisay this UK election has reminded me so much of our own. Look how all the Scots, I think so they are the Pathans of UK, voted for just one party. I hope so vaisay they get a better deal from their choice than poor old Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s getting from PTI. Another same to same is how in England people voted for Cameroon like in Punjab people voted for Nawaz. Janoo says it’s called upward nobility or something.

And talking of UK, I’m tau very happy about Princess Charlotte, Kate Middleclass’ baby daughter. Chalo, Allah ka shukar, family complete ho gayee. Now I can rest easy. But rest easy tau I think so Kate was doing while giving birth. Did you see her hair in that photo taken just five hours after the baby? As if she’d stepped out of a beauty saloon instead of a hospital. She must’ve been having blow dry and make up while pushing.
