The missing village headman and former union council Nazim Mian Waqar ul Hasan was found in a pit near a village in Gojra. H was was missing for the past three months. He was village headman of 521 GB Gojra. His family alleged that the former deputy commissioner Toba Tek Singh Naeem Sindhu cancelled his (Numberdari) Village headmanship after taking huge bribe from an influential man. When Mian Waqar ul Hasan protested against the high-handedness of the deputy commissioner Naeem Sindhu he was allegedly kidnapped three months ago.
Former MNA Mian Asad ur Rehman met with Mian Waqar. He accused former deputy commissioner and DPO Ibadat Nisar who kept Mian Waqar in illegal detention and also tortured him. Former MNA, who is the real uncle of finance minister Aurangzeb Farooq, demanded from the provincial government and give justice to the victim. He also stated that former deputy commissioner and DPO were corrupt to the core as they looted the district with both hands.
Mian Waqar s brother Mian Fayyaz told that even after the release of his brother Police again tried to arrest him in a fake case as they are harassing the family to not pursue case in the hight court. He said the medical examination of Mian Waqar will be conducted at the DHQ hospital Toba Tek Singh.
The local residents accused that head clerk at the deputy commissioner Toba Tek Singh Sanaullah made millions with served as the front man of the former deputy commissioner Toba Tek Singh Naeem Sindhu. The residents also said Toba Tek Singh is the only district where two head clerks are serving and usually only one functions. Former deputy commissioner Naeem Sindhu when contacted didn't answer the calls. Former DPO Ibadat Nisar didn't respond to the calls.
