From here to hell
We hear there’s a special and most dangerous category of terrorists, and they’re called “black” men. A group of these “black” terrorists was recently apprehended in the City by the Sea, we hear, and made to contact their Uzbek counterparts. The latter were holed up in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s tribal belt. The Uzbeks were asked to meet their “Black” comrades at a designated place; they fell for the ruse, gathered at one spot and were bombed from here to hell. Our mole in the right place tells us that these “Black” terrorists have their amusements recorded on their phones — a revolting mix of pornography and beheadings.
In vain
Informed sources say successive governments, including the late unlamented former dispensation led by Hubby, and the current one led by The Man of Steel have one important thing in common. They’ve both been trying to do with those who nab politicos and their cronies. Sources say Hubby tried his best but failed, given that those who nab can also serve as a convenient tool in the hands of the khakis. The Man is trying to do the same but with no success. He even tried to get Hubby’s friend Dr A off the hook, but was thwarted by the Lone Rangers and their khaki bosses. This despite the fact that Hubby hadn’t asked The Man of Steel to help reprieve Dr A.
Law of the jungle
A game of snakes and ladders is being played out in Isloo. It hasn’t come to the main protagonists actually mouthing the word “extension” a year ahead of time, but cohorts of both camps are busy working out their strategies. “Oh God,” sighed an insider, “when will we become predictable and law abiding?” The answer is that we are predictable in our unpredictability and we totally abide by the law — the law of the jungle.
