Questions
The law enforcement agencies should be asking many questions about the recent apparent suicide of a renowned Sindhi politician and his former journalist wife. These questions, which arise from the circumstances surrounding the “murder-suicide”, have yet to surface, either in the press or in police reports.
For instance, is it true that the couple appeared to have been sleeping in their bedroom before the killing? Is it true that this could be deduced from the fact that the marital bed had been slept in and that there were no signs of violence in that area? Is it true that a window at the back of the house was found to be open and ajar, when police came in? Is it true that the late politician had a Glock handgun in his bedside drawer? Is it true that the Glock was not used in the “murder-suicide” but an old gun in a display case 10 feet above ground was taken out of the box and used? Is it true that the politician was a crack shot? If so, it is true that his wife was shot at twice in different parts of her anatomy before she finally got the fatal head shot? Is it true that the bedroom door was not locked, contrary to press reports, but that the front door was? Is it true that the police is reluctant to delve deeper into this apparent “murder-suicide”?
