Re-engineering?
We’re not surprised at Chaudhry Einstein’s outburst, nor at his subsequent backtracking after being ticked off by The Great Khan and his duly (s)elected mouthpiece. If there was any doubt about the re-engineering going on in The Great Khan’s horde, you have it right there in the dissolution of the entire Party hierarchy. With local government elections planned for next year, the brains behind The Khan’s brawn know that getting this lot to acquiesce to an emasculation of their power, as per the LG law, is going to be difficult, hence a whole new structure that will simply take away all decision making from the current crop. If you thought the recent cabinet reshuffle was the night of long knives, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet!

Heat wave
Fingers crossed, may the predicted heat wave in the first half of June, never see the light of day. We hear temperatures in India and Pakistan may soar to an unbelievable 52ºC! May God have mercy on us all.
