Zara sochiye!

Last year, when GEO ran a campaign promoting universal education in Pakistan, part of which was funded by British aid, the then top guns of our great and glorious forces went and complained to Her Majesty’s reps in Isloo. Apparently, they asked how the Brits could underwrite such a perfidious campaign: “Parhnay likhnay kay siva, Pakistan ka matlab kya!” Zara sochiye!

 Presidential powers

A journo called on the Prez recently and asked how he occupied his time. The gent replied that apart from all his stately duties, he is chancellor of 11 universities, some of them overseas, and the Foreign Office doesn’t have much time for them so he’s decided to concentrate on their uplift.  “For example?” asked the journo. “The uni of Tanzania”, the Prez replied. On another occasion, he apparently attended an Isloo function along with The Man of Steel’s Talented Bro and unassumingly took a lesser seat whereas protocol decreed the big chair for him. “I have such a close relationship” with Talented Bro said the Prez, “that protocol doesn’t matter.”

The former chief adjudicator recently found himself travelling from Lahore to Isloo with ex-premier YRG. He told the former premier that he had a useless legal team and advised the gent to hire him (the former adjudicator) as his legal advisor. What for, asked YRG. “To help you deal with the cases I instituted against you,” he said unabashedly.
