Trouble brewing?

The conspirators are at it again, and some would love to see trouble brewing again between the khakis and the civvies. Our mole says some khakis (if not General Bobby) have gone out of their way to “feed stories” about The Man of Steel and six individuals they consider to be The Man’s cronies, to receptive ears. Some of this disinformation has already appeared in the media, with more to follow. Apparently, the one qualification needed in attracting the khakis’ ire is proximity to The Man of Steel. On the other hand, The Man’s government doesn’t help itself by being slow to react and lumbering along as usual.

Operation Clean-up

We hear The Great Khan’s eldest sibling has moved in with him in an effort to clean up his act and take charge of his household. A fly on the wall tells us that the sibling has gotten rid of some of the “bad influences” and those who feather their own nest at The Khan’s expense. The Khan’s ex’s staff have also all been sacked, to be replaced by ye olde faithfuls from Zaman Park in Lahore. An effort is also afoot to bring back to the fold some of The Khan old, old friends. One childhood buddy, known to have been with The Khan through thick and thin, was reportedly very hurt when he was blamed for “leaking” details of the RK-IK rupture to the media. More so, because apparently, without much ado, The Khan called him and chewed off his ears.

Last minute change

A fracas was avoided at the last minute at the recent Paris Climate Change Summit where The Man of Steel was in attendance with his entourage. Rumour has it that a long, wordy speech had been written for The Man, extolling the virtues of clean energy and a green future. Before the speech was made, The Man of Steel’s Dar-ling who was accompanying his boss, got wind of it and swiftly put paid to it. He was furious at the criticism in the speech about coal-fired power plants when this government’s entire revival strategy is “coal-fired” as it were! “Which idiot wrote this speech?” Dar-ling is said to have proclaimed. He made short shrift of it and produced a non-committal, inane declaration which The Man dutifully served up at the summit.
