Death toll: 1569 2 million houses damaged 84 calamity hit districts
Death toll and injuries:

 

The death toll from floods and rains has now climbed 1569 in Pakistan as of September 20, which includes 555 children, 320 women and 694 men. Within the past two days 24 more fatalities were added to the count of lives lost in Sindh, which took the death toll of the province to 701. Per the NDMA these deaths had occurred over the course of 30 days in Matiari, Naushehro Feroze, Badin, Hyderabad, Tando Allah Yar and Tharparkar. One man was reported dead in Zhob, Balochistan. 

 

Casualties were caused by drowning and house collapse. The number of injured is 12860.

 

Damages to houses, property and infrastructure:

 

The number of damaged houses has reached 2 million nationwide, of which 1.2 million are partially damaged and 801633 fully destroyed. In Sindh 1.77 million houses are damaged of which, 1 million are partially damaged and 717478 are destroyed. In Balochistan the cumulative data shows the number of damaged houses to be 71850, of which 19876 are fully destroyed. The tentative number of damaged houses in the province is higher. In KP, 91463 houses are damaged, of which 37525 are destroyed. 67981 houses are damaged in Punjab, of which 25854 are fully damaged. 

 

The number of perished livestock is 998,407 now. Of the tentative 500000 lost livestock in Balochistan, 304950 are confirmed lost. 271181 livestock are lost in Sindh, 205106 in Punjab, 21328 in KP, and 792 in AJK. 

 

Per the PDMA Sindh 4.8 million acres of crop area is affected in the province. 

 

The number of calamity hit districts in the country are now 84, as three more districts are declared affected in Gilgit Baltistan. Of the total 32 are in Balochistan, 17 in KP, 23 in Sindh, 3 in Punjab.
