Khadijah Shah – the alleged instigator of the May 9 Jinnah House attack and arson – was produced in the jail for an identification parade on the orders of Lahore's Anti-terrorism Court (ATC), on Wednesday.
Khadijah – granddaughter of a former army chief and daughter of ex-financial adviser Salman Shah – was reportedly kept in the prison van for over an hour before she was produced in the court.
The accused told reporters from inside the prison van that it was too hot inside the vehicle and that she had difficulty breathing. She also said that she had asthma and was feeling increasing unwell, as per Geo Urdu.
The police personnel told Khadijah they would move the van under a shed, and she was provided water.
The report further quoted police as saying that there were two more women in the van, besides Khadijah.
Khadijah Shah – a staunch PTI supporter and fashion designer – was taken into custody a day earlier for her alleged hand in inciting the mob attack at the Lahore Corps Commander's House earlier this month.
