Fans Want Graham Potter Gone
Fans want Graham Potter gone ever since Chelsea's loss to Tottenham on the 26th of February. Suffice to say, Chelsea have been having a rough time ever since Thomas Tuchel was sacked.  Chelsea were a team that was in the top 4 of the Premier League for the last two seasons. They had won the Champions League Final as well as the Club World Cup Final in the 2021 to 2022 season. Yet, they are now 10th in the Premier League and have only won 8 games out of 24.

Ever since Graham Potter became manager, Chelsea have only won 2 in the last 17 games. It is hardly surprising that Potter is now facing severe animosity from the fans. This has been Chelsea's worst season since the 2015-2016 one, where they finished 10th in the League with 54 points. It has gotten to the point where Potter publicly admitted that he had received death threats  because of his recent 2-0 loss to bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

Throughout his time at Chelsea, he didn't seem to have a proper tactics plan. His strategy, as most fans pointed out, seemed to just 'leave players alone to do what they do best'. He started to play 4 at the back rather than Tuchel's 5 at the back strategy. Besides that, he made little to no changes. He improved squad depth in the defence and midfield, got a new winger (Mikhaylo Mudryk) and didn't invest on the striker position at all.

His squad selection was also terrible. For example, the recent fixture against Spur's was seen to be his redemption opportunity. If he could get a win over a relatively weaker but bitter Chelsea rival, he would maintain the fan's support. And yet, he chose to play Loftus-Cheek instead of Mason Mount at Midfield and chose to play Kalidou Koulibaly over and in-form Wesley Fofana. Marc Cucurella wasn't even on the bench, let alone the starting line-up because Potter apparently didn't think to take full advantage of Chelsea's wing-backs with 5 defenders but rather play them as defensive full-backs with 4 in the back.

It is therefore no surprise that fans wants Graham potter gone. In previous games, the fault was evenly divided between players and manager but with this recent result, Potter has now lost most if not all support from Chelsea fans.
