The Federal Investigation Agency has constituted special teams to take former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi into custody, reports in the media suggest.
The teams will also have the assistance of women police personnel to materialise the arrest of the former First Lady, while a contingency plan is also afoot in case of resistance during the action.
The reports further state that the FIA has also gathered information about the whereabouts of the duo, that may be moved to Rawalpindi after being taken into custody.
The development comes as the PTI launched a 'jail bharo' movement for voluntary arrests on the call of the party's chairman.
A day earlier, the National Accountability Bureau issued a “call up notice” to Imran that he must appear in the bureau’s inquiry proceedings on March 9.
NAB is investigating the Toshakhana case, wherein the PTI chief is alleged to have misappropriated state gifts that he received while serving as Pakistan’s head of government.

The notice from NAB, dated Feb 17, states that the accused must appear before the accountability watchdog to “join the inquiry proceedings” which will ascertain whether the law was violated.
The bureau has listed seven items – five Rolex watches, one iPhone and a Graff gift set – as the gifts that Imran received from foreign dignitaries in his capacity of prime minister, but later treated as his own personal property.
Last year, he exclaimed before media that these gifts belonged to him, and he could do whatever he wanted with them.
