Bollywood superstar Deepika Pudukone is set to unveil the FIFA World Cup Trophy in Qatar.
Deepika is set to travel to the Arab state in connection with the development, according to Indian entertainment and lifestyle portal Pinkvilla. Deepika had earlier served as a jury member at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2022. The Indian platform presented the slated unveiling as a “rare” honour for any actor — indian or otherwise.
Deepika had lavished praise on husband Ranveer Singh after he clinched a Filmfare earlier in August. “Simply the best. Better than all the rest,” Deepika captioned an Instagram post featuring Ranveer holding the famed black lady trophy.
Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot in a dreamy Lake Como wedding in 2018. Their wedding, an intimate event, famously boasted a no-phone policy. The two had reportedly been dating earlier.
