PTI Twitterati Mark Bajwa's Retirement As 'Day Of Deliverance'
Noted members of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday took to micro-blogging site Twitter in connection with what was termed "Day of Deliverance" in wake of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa earlier the same day.

Mir Jafars, former rights minister Shireen Mazari said, were a reality of our history. "How many have stuck to this oath that they take? & has anyone held them accountable for violating their oath? Mir Jafars are a reality of our history! But those who ask questions can be abducted, tortured or worse simply for asking! Let's hope it will truly be #یوم_نجات_29_نومبر"

Former National Assembly deputy speaker Qasim Suri said Bajwa had left Pakistan "weaker". "After spending six years as #Pakistan’s most powerful man, Bajwa leaves a country in a significantly weaker position: society is deeply polarized, the economy is on the brink of default and political instability. #یوم_نجات_29_نومبر"

The whole nation, focal person to Imran Khan Hassaan Niazi said, was ecstatic. "Whole nation is happy. The man behind 9thApril and the man who gave in to Donald Lu will finally leave the nation. With family worth in billions. Used our army for his personal gains. May Allah give strength to general asim munir to do court marshal #یوم_نجات_29_نومبر" Niazi also conducted a poll on whether the former COAS should be court martialed and his name be placed on the Exit Control List (ECL). "Do you want court marshal of Bajwa and his name in ECL #یوم_نجات_29_نومبر," he tweeted separately.
