Interior Minister Rana Sanalullah on Monday warned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan that the government will respond with full force if he decided to mount a long march to Islamabad.
Sanaullah made the comments while speaking to journalists. The presser was convened in the wake of the Sunday by-elections. He said the government will deliver a fitting response to Khan if he did so. “You may take the initiative but we will very much conclude it,” Sanaullah said. He said if Imran resorted to fielding mobs, he will have a taste of the same soon.
PTI chairman Imran on Sunday emerged victorious across six of seven NA seats he famously ran for in by-elections held yesterday. The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), on the other hand, clinched two NA seats. The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), separately, only scored one of three Provincial Assembly seats up for grabs.
