Imran Will Not Be Allowed To Mount Long March: Najam Sethi
Preparations to launch a Mohmand-like operation in Swat are underway, The Friday Times (TFT) Editor Najam Sethi said on Friday.

Sethi made the comments in flagship Naya Daur TV show Khabar Say AagayThe veteran journalist said while the province did not have a governor yet one may be appointed soon. The operation will be spearheaded together from the corp commander's office and governor's house, he said.

He said it had been decided that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan would not be allowed to mount a long march to Islamabad. Sethi said COAS Bajwa had delivered a clear message on how no one would be permitted to compromise economic stability.

The veteran journalist said Imran was between the devil and the deep sea. If he backtracks he stands to lose. If, however, he goes ahead with his long march and the turnout is not inline with his expectations or it is impeded Imran will have to sustain a loss then too, Sethi said.

The TFT editor said it was common knowledge that Pakistan was supplying small arms to Ukraine via through a third country. He said this was not being done directly to prevent harm to ties with Russia.
