A fifth case has been registered against Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) linked MNA Ali Wazir, who was recently granted bail in the previous cases filed against him.
The Sindh Police have, as per journalist Mubasher Zaidi, come up with a new case against the MNA, accusing him of violating the Loudspeaker Act in Miran Shah, to be heard in North Waziristan. In a tweet, urging for the release of Ali Wazir, Zaidi said that the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) got Ali Wazir’s vote for the vote of no confidence, but forgot him soon after.
Mockery….MNA Ali Wazir is not set free by Sindh Police despite bail. Now jail authorities came up with a new case against @Aliwazirna50 for violation of loudspeaker act in Miran Shah to keep him in jail. Ali Wazir was first arrested on December 16, 2020 in Peshawar on account of allegedly making anti-state speeches against the Pakistani state. He was brought to Karachi and subsequently jailed in the Karachi Central Jail, which is where he has been since December 31, 2020.
Earlier in September he was granted bail in the fourth and final case against him, and it was hoped that he would be released soon.
Ali Wazir’s lawyer Qadir Khan spoke to Naya Daur journalist Ailia Zehra in September and seemed optimistic that his client could be released soon, although he acknowledged that the situation was ‘unpredictable’. “It seems like at the moment there isn’t a fifth case being filed against him…or maybe there is one, and we’ll find out in the coming days because there is no telling with these people [the prosecution].”

If you are a Punjabi like Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi, you can get away with murder of the establishment. While if you are a minority ethnic group like Pakhtoons, Sindhis or Baloch, you will be hanged for even asking for your rights.
