On Friday, singer Aima Baig said she had split from beau, the actor Shahbaz Shigri in a now-deleted Instagram story.
In the story, she said she will always respect Shahbaz for giving her a good time.
"Sometimes, shit happens and happens for a reason. And to answer all your questions, yes we have parted ways. But we are both doing good and fine, so don't worry," she said.
"I wanted to do it in the most respectful way and so I did. People can choose their ways of expressing their feelings, that defines who they are from the inside. That’s me, telling the truth to anyone wondering are they or are they not together? And the answer is nope, me and Shahbaz are not together anymore,” she added.
The singer later deleted the Instagram story as aforementioned.
Aima and Shahbaz announced their engagement in July, 2021. They had been in a relationship since 2019.
