Body Of Indian Soldier Found 38 Years Later At Siachen Glacier



Siachen is the world's highest battlefield. In 1984, twenty Indian soldiers were caught in an avalanche during a patrolling operation along the Indo-Pak border.

While fifteen bodies were recoverd, five were never found.

Now, 38 years, one of the five bodies has been found and identified as being the Indian soldier Chandrashekhar Harbola.

In 2012, an avanlanche near the Siachen glacier caused the death of at least 129 soldiers.
