Pakistan Navy Saves Nine Crew Of Capsizing Indian Vessel
The Pakistan Navy has claimed to have rescued nine crew members of an Indian vessel after it capsized off Gwadar.

“The navy immediately responded to the distress call and the Pakistan Maritime Information Centre requested a nearby merchant ship MT KRUIBEKE to provide necessary assistance to the stranded crew of the drowning sailing vessel,” Radio Pakistan reported on Thursday. “The merchant ship eventually recovered nine crew members and continued voyage to its next port Dubai and onward disembarked the crew,” the PN said.

Separately, the body of a missing crew member was located by two PN helicopter and a ship. It has been handed over to the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency.

The Pakistani claims contradict those made by the Indian Coast Guard. The agency claimed the same feat in a tweet.
