Govt Offices To Remain Open 6 Days A Week, Orders PM Shehbaz
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has decreased the number of weekly offs, ordering government offices to remain open for six days a week. Moreover, the offices will open at 8 AM instead of 10 AM, as per the PM's instructions.

Further, the newly-elected PM has directed the authorities concerned to ensure the provision of quality items at low rates in the Ramzan bazaars. He also sought strict monitoring of the Ramzan bazaars.

In his inaugural speech after his election as Pakistan's 23rd Prime Minister on Monday, Shehbaz Sharif announced a relief package. He has now directed immediate implementation of the plan.

In his address to the National Assembly after his election as the PM. Shehbaz Sharif announced that minimum wage would be raised to Rs25,000, with effect from April 1. He also announced a 10 per cent increase in pensions of retired civil, and military officials. Further, the PM said that utility stores will get cheap wheat and also made announcements about laptops for the youth. Benazir Card, he said, would be reintroduced and its name will remain the same. The previous government, he noted, changed the name of the card out of vendetta, he said.

The PM also called on industrialists to give raise to their employees earning up to Rs 1000,000.

On his first day as the PM, Shehbaz Sharif reached his office early, much to the surprise of other officials who had not reached yet.
