Govt Officials Clueless About 'International Conspiracy' Letter Mentioned By PM
Various government insiders have stated that they have 'no knowledge' of the letter Prime Minister Imran Khan referred to on Sunday which allegedly provides evidence of a foreign-hatched plot to oust the PTI government, leaving many questions unanswered as to the secret missive.

Sources close to the matter speaking with the Tribune, indicated that they were unaware of any such plot, nor did they see any evidence of the matter the prime minister may have referred to.

On Sunday, prime minister Imran Khan claimed there was an 'international conspiracy' against him, which he had evidence of in a letter.  He further claimed that he could not share the contents of the letter, but insisted that he had proof.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi claimed that the letter had been shared with military leadership.

However, sources within the government stated that it there was such a threatening plot, there would have been various actions taken by now, including a meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC).

Since the submission of the no-confidence motion, the prime minister has maintained that the opposition is being support by foreign forces, who seek to oust the prime minister because he is pursuing what he terms as an 'independent foreign policy.'
