With the announcement of Usman Buzdar’s resignation from his post as Punjab chief minister, netizens took the opportunity to commemorate his tenure through memes.
Buzdar’s resignation was viewed by many as a political sacrifice to save the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI). In his stead, the PTI nominated Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi as the next chief minister.
Many joked that Buzdar’s ouster was a target of the ‘international conspiracy‘ Prime Minister Imran Khan had alluded to during his speech on Sunday.
