Multiple Pakistan People's Party (PPP) lawmakers have claimed that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) government is planning to attack Sindh House in Islamabad in an operation similar to the police raid on Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) workers and volunteers staged at Parliament Lodges last week.
A joint statement released by PPP MNAs Abdul Qadir Patel, Agha Rafi, Javed Shah Jillani and others requested additional police security from the Sindh government, following the Islamabad police's 'barbaric attack' in Parliament Lodges. The PPP MNA's claimed they had shifted to Sindh House because they felt unsafe at Parliament Lodges following the police scuffle.
The PPP MNAs alleged that the prime minister's 'Tiger Force goons' were planning to attack Sindh House.

Last week, a volunteer force of the JUI-F, the Anasrul Islam, had assembled at the Parliament Lodges to provide security to opposition lawmakers. A heavy contingent of police conducted a raid to disperse the group, arresting at least four legislators and two dozen volunteers in the operation.
Those arrested in the raid were released after JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman called for a nation-wide protest against the police action, threatening to block roads and highways across the country. The parliamentarians and workers were released and the protest was called off.
In an invective-filled speech on Wednesday, Prime Minister Imran Khan called on his supporters to 'stand with the truth' in Islamabad on March 27. He further claimed that the money of the people of Sindh was loaded into sacks and being brought to Islamabad to buy MNAs. “People’s conscience is being auctioned,” he said.
