ISPR Announces Conclusion Of Security Operations After This Week's Terror Attacks In Balochistan
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has announced the completion of the clearing operation in Balochistan after security forces in Panjgur and Naushki came under attack by militants of the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) on Wednesday. Heavily armed militants had targeted camps used by security forces in these areas.

Today, the ISPR has confirmed that attacks in both Naushki and Panjgur have been “successfully repulsed” – with 20 of the militants being killed. According to the ISPR, nine Pakistani security personnel laid down their lives in the line of duty.

Giving details of the fighting in Panjgur, the military spokesperson said that four of the terrorists died during the initial exchange of heavy fire, while others had been surrounded by security forces until the operation of today.

"All encircled terrorists were killed in today’s operation as they failed to surrender," the ISPR announced.

Meanwhile, a further three terrorists were killed in Kech during clearing operations there on Friday.

The ISPR has also highlighted its interception of communications between the terrorist groups and their handlers in India and Afghanistan. Moreover, it has emphasised the resolve of security forces to confront and defeat terrorism on Pakistani soil.
