We hear The Great Khan is trying to learn Pashto and his teacher is none other than his wife. Apparently, the couple spend an hour a day at learning the language with the aid of books which have been bought recently to aide the process.
Destination wedding
We’ve heard of destination weddings with the rich and famous jetting off to glamorous locales with friends and family to celebrate the happy occasion. Now there’s a whole new wedding destination for the pious – and it is the Prophet’s (PBUH) mosque in Medina. The trend began a couple of years ago with some of Pakistan’s richest families solemnizing their kids’ vows in the holy precincts, topped by The Man of Steel’s granddaughter’s recent nikah there.
Splitting up
The buzz is that a famous Pakistani cricketer wedded to a famous tennis star from across the border, is trying his best to hide the fissures in his marriage. We hear they are close to splitting up and have been forced to keep the news from the press, on account of the recent Sri Lanka series. Apparently, the lady has made up her mind and will announce her decision soon.
