Terror Attacks: Two Girls' Schools Blown Up In North Waziristan
In another act of terror against educational institutions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), terrorists detonated two girls' schools in the Mir Ali subdivision of North Waziristan.

The terrorist act came to light on Monday after Deputy Commissioner Rehan Gul Khattak confirmed one of the attacks that took place at the Government Girls Middle School Hafizabad in the area of Hassu Khel on Sunday night. He said that although the school's structure was destroyed, no lives were lost.

District Police Officer Saleem Riaz stated that two girls' schools were reportedly targeted and destroyed with explosives on Sunday night. However, there had been no reports of injuries, he added.

The official declared that the impacted schools were situated in the Mir Ali subdivision's Musakki and Hassu Khel villages. According to him, the Anti-Terrorism Act was being used to file prosecutions against terrorist actions.

The horrific event occurred after at least eight people, including five teachers, were killed in separate shootings in Upper Kurram Tehsil earlier this month.

A teacher was murdered in a moving car in the first occurrence at Parachinar, which is the capital of the Kurram district and is located in Upper Kurram.

In a separate incident, unidentified gunmen opened fire on seven people, including four teachers, at the Government High School Tari Mangal staff room. All of the educators were present in the building to conduct exams for students.

According to the district administration, the three other victims were drivers who delivered building supplies to the school.
