'Unbearable Azhar Siddique': Asma Shirazi Storms Out Of Live Show
Anchorperson Asma Shirazi on Friday stormed out of a live TV show when she noticed the presence of PTI lawyer, Azhar Siddique on the programme.

"I want to record my protest," said a visibly annoyed Shirazi said as she addressed host Mansoor Ali Khan.

"You are a professional journalist but I wasn't fully aware of the guests in today's show, or I wouldn't have been here," she maintained.

The anchorperson went on to add that she didn't want to share the screen with this man, in an apparent reference to Siddique.

Elaborating, Shirazi said, "[It is] because of the things he has been saying about me and other women journalists; the way he has been spying on us and the kind of allegations that he makes against us.

She further told the host that had his team revealed the names of the guests to her, she would have skipped the show.

"Please accept my apology," she added.

The anchorperson then told Khan she hoped that he would inquire "him" about his allegations against others.

This prompted a response from the PTI lawyer, who told Shirazi that he would respond to her at once.

But she replied , "You are not worth a talk," and left the show, as Khan tried to talk the two sides out of the dispute.

The show continued with the lawyer speaking about Shirazi in her absence. As he accused her of acting like "slaves" to a certain political party, Azma Bokhari, who was also part of the show, spoke up.

Bokhari told Siddique that he, too was a "munshi" to PTI chairman Imran Khan. She also scolded him for his demeanor.

As the lawyer interrupted her continuously, the PML-N leader, too, opted for leaving the show. She sped out as the lawyer continued to explain his stance to the host.
