Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan said that the PDM government was going to arrest him as part of what he called the ‘London Plan’. “Even though I know the nefarious intentions of the government, I am going to appear in the Islamabad court,” the former premier said in a video message.

Imran Khan said that he was headed to the Islamabad court but was delayed due to “an accident”. He asked under which law the Punjab police was taking action at his Zaman Park residence. “This is all part of the London Plan, which promises to bring the fugitive Nawaz Sharif back to power. This PDM government wants to arrest me despite bail in all cases,” Khan said in the video.

Khan said that, “I believe in the rule of law, that’s why I am going to appear in the court of Islamabad despite knowing the nefarious intentions of the government”. Khan added that “the clear objective of the PDM government” was to arrest him. He also said that “the group of thieves and dacoits has been exposed by these actions”.

Imran Khan said that the purpose of the ongoing police operation in Zaman Park was “not to ensure that I reach the court, but to put me in jail so that I could not lead the election campaign”. Imran Khan reiterated that the plan for his arrest was a ‘precondition’ that former premier Nawaz Sharif had demanded before he returned from London.

Some time ago, three vehicles belonging to PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s convoy met with an accident near Kallar Kahar. Three people were injured in an accident involving the vehicles of Imran Khan’s convoy coming from Zaman Park Lahore for his appearance in Islamabad. The workers of Hafizabad were riding in these vehicles.

PTI chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan left for Islamabad from Zaman Park earlier today to appear in the Toshakhana case.
