Farah Gogi Took Rs1.6b In Bribes, Imran And Bushra Were Beneficiaries: Tarrar
PML-N spokesperson Ataullah Tarrar has alleged that Farah Khan – a former aide to PTI chief Imran Khan's wife Bushra Bibi – took Rs1.6 billion in bribes during the term of the ex-prime minister.

Tarrar further alleged that Farah was able to acquire such sort of money with help from the PTI chief and his wife.

In 2018, he added, Farah opened 10 to 12 bank accounts to accumulate the ill-gotten wealth. Imran was complicit in foreign trips on private jets, selling the gifts meant for Toshakhana, wrongful postings and transfers of government officials, and being a party in the development projects.

Farah, he maintained, was one of the witnesses during the PTI chief's marriage as well in all affairs of the 'kitchen cabinet'.

"She should come to Pakistan and face the cases filed by the NAB and the FIA," he said and labelled the accused as an 'absconder'.
The former PTI legislator, who has been estranged from the party since late last year, was listing the number of ‘favours’ that the now-retired general had bestowed upon the PTI and upon Khan personally. He also said that PTI chief Imran Khan is stuck in a ‘dead end alley’, and he sees the former premier being disqualified from office soon.

Tarrar said that if it were legitimate money, such as from a business, it would have been transferred via proper bank procedures.

He also said that the former premier passed on the benefit of an amnesty scheme in 2018 to Farah and his husband.

Last month, in an interview to a private news channel, former PTI senator Faisal Vawda claimed that former army chief General Bajwa was the one who allowed Farhat Shahzadi alias “Farah Gogi”, a close friend and aide to former first lady Bushra Khan, to leave Pakistan. “When Farah left the country, Bajwa sahib knew of it and obviously he had approved it”, Vawda said.

“In trying to make everyone happy, he [General Bajwa] is now suffering and paying the price”, Vawda said on an evening news show. “So much so, that when Ms. Farah wanted to leave the country, she was allowed to go with General Bajwa’s knowledge and permission,” Vawda had claimed.
