Khalid Chaudhary, Progressive Writer And Intellectual, Dies In Lahore
Khalid Chaudhary was a progressive writer and intellectual. He was also one of the founding members of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).

Along with his political activism, he went on to work in the media and was the  former editor Mussawat. From 1977 to 1979, he was held as a prisoner of conscience at Lahore fort and camp jail Lahore.



A known patriot, a devoted democrat and a committed human rights activist, Khalid Chaudhary believed in progress and held his ground throughout his life.

He had no car, house or privilege and was committed to his work. He passed away peacefully in Lahore this morning.
