The Roosevelt Hotel in New York City is the most famous and well known of the properties the Pakistan State owns in the US. However, there are two more. Economist Ahmed Jamal Wattoo highlighted the fact that these other properties owned by Pakistan are lying vacant.
Of all the properties which 🇵🇰 gov owns in the US, perhaps the most famous is the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City.
However, Pak also owns 2 Buildings in Washington DC which have been lying vacant since 2003.

The initial plan was to renovate the two Chancery Buildings and find productive uses for them. To achieve this end, the National Bank provided a loan of $7 mil to the Pak mission in DC.
To absolutely nobody’s surprise, the planned renovation failed.

This was because the Pakistani mission had been unable to obtain the permissions from the local government departments in time & local building codes had changed.
To pay off the Loan liability, Pak FO decided to sell the building in Dec ‘22. As yet, no buyer has been found.
