Key Suspect, Three Associates Arrested In Daya Bheel’s Murder
Sanghar Police achieved a major breakthrough in the Daya Bheel murder case on Saturday as they went on to arrest four suspects, including two local 'sorcerers' who are allegedly involved in the horrendous murder of a 40 year old Hindu widow.

Daya Bheel's body was found mutilated in the mustard field in her village near Sanghar on 27 December 2022.

According to the initial investigations by local police, the arrested suspects plotted the whole episode and later on executed it as per their strategy. Sanghar police obtained a five-day remand of one of the suspects from Nawabshah’s Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC).

The arrested suspects were identified as Roopo, son of Buddho Bheel; Lonio, son of Harchand; Sajan, son of Shankar Bheel; and Dayara alias Dahraj alias Buddho. The police said that the arrested suspects had made shocking revelations about the involvement of Darhya Bheel, who is the brother of the deceased.

The police further explained that it was the brother of the deceased who had hatched the conspiracy along with main suspects Ropo Bheel who had confessed of killing the lady over personal grudge and then chopped her corpse into pieces.

Quoting the key suspect Roopo Bheel, police said that her body was peeled off with a sharp blade and the hair were also removed. The brother of the deceased lady had facilitated the crime by providing logistics and information about the movement of Daya Bheel, police said. They added that suspects had disclosed to have dissolved different organs of the body to make a powder to be used in occult rituals.

The weapons used in the murder were a knife, axe and blade that had been recovered after the arrested suspects gave the police a substantive lead. Police said that nearly a hundred people were interrogated during the course of investigation. It would be pertinent to mention here that key suspect Ropoo Bheel was arrested a few days ago, while other suspects including the brother of the deceased lady were apprehended on his identification of their role in the gruesome murder.
