Disgraced former major of Pakistan Army, Adil Raja, has made startling allegations that lewd videos of former army chief General (retired) Qamar Javed Bajwa and former DG ISI Lt Gen (retired) Faiz Hameed could be “leaked” in the coming days.

The former soldier, now living in exile, divulged explicit details of the alleged carnal trysts between senior generals, actresses and models in “ISI safe houses in Islamabad”, among other claims.

At the same time, questions are being raised as to whether the ‘establishment’ had truly stopped playing politics since February 2021 – as asserted last year by DG ISI Lt Gen Nadeem Anjum, and then by former army chief General Bajwa himself – or not.

Bajwa said the army decided to stop interfering in politics since Feb 2021.

Recently retired generals of Pakistan Army are finding it very difficult to avoid the spotlight, which shines on them in the most unflattering ways. Former prime minister Imran Khan continues to berate General (retired) Bajwa for a plethora of evils that Khan could not – or did not – see when both were at the helm of affairs together for years.
