Three Army Soldiers Martyred In Kurram Gunfight: ISPR
Three troops of Pakistan Army were martyred, while two terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire in the Kurram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the exchange of fire took place today (Dec 29) in the general area Arawali. "Troops fought bravely and effectively engaged the terrorists' location," it said.

"During fierce exchange of fire, Subedar Shuja Muhammad, 43, resident of Khairpur, Naik Muhammad Ramzan, 32, resident of Khuzdar, and Sepoy Abdul Rehman, 30, resident of Sukkur having fought gallantly, embraced Shahadat," the communiqué added.

The military's media wing further stated that arms and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces.

It also said that sanitisation of the area was underway to eliminate any terrorists found in the area.

"Pakistan Army is determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve," the ISPR concluded.
