PCB Cautions Ramiz Over Statements Against Sethi
Pakistan Cricket Board on Wednesday warned Ramiz Raja over his statements against Najam Sethi, saying the institution reserved the right to respond in defence of the board's chairman.

A communique issued in this regard noted that the remarks being made by the ex-chairman of the board were aimed at damaging Sethi's reputation.

The board cautioned Raja that it would initiate legal proceedings against him if he continued to issue the aforesaid statements.

It also termed the comparison of expenditure incurred during the two terms misleading. It observed that despite his visits to UAE, Sethi never received a PSL allowance.

On Dec 22, Raja was removed from his post after a test series whitewash by England. He had taken over from Ehsan Mani who had resigned from his role in 2021.

"The cricket regime headed by Ramiz Raja is no more. The 2014 PCB constitution stands restored," Sethi, who has also served the PCB as its head, had said on Twitter.
