Blackout, Networks Down In Gwadar After Protests
Pakistan's coastal city of Gwadar, home to a mega port touted as the key to the country's economic future, was reported to be facing electricity blackouts and mobile network disruptions on Tuesday. This came after sustained protests by a local rights movement calling itself the 'Haq Du Tehreek' (HDT).

Police action against the protesters started as early as Monday morning, but the protests only spiraled out of control since then.
