As per a report, the Pakistani American woman landed in Pakistan on November 28 and she went to visit her in-laws in Sukha area of Jhelum, with her mother and a driver.
But upon reaching there, she claims that her in laws, with whom she had estranged relations, tried to snatch her infant daughter and also took away her $7,000 and her mobile phone.
The torture was conducted by her father-in-law who tried to lynch her and rip her clothes but she escaped.
Speaking to the police she mentioned that her husband's name was Zohaib whom she had married a couple of years ago. But due to the relationship breaking down, she cancelled her husband's visa which brought on the attack.
