PAC Summons Records For Gifts Received By Senior Constitutional Officeholders
Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee, Noor Alam Khan, has summoned ten years' worth of records from the state gift repository, or Toshakhana. The PAC Chairman instructed the Auditor General of Pakistan to also produce the official records of gifts received by judges and bureaucrats during the past ten years.

Records for gifts received by prime ministers, services chiefs, MNAs, chief ministers and governors were also ordered for production before the committee. The PAC Chairman clarified that gifts received during discharge of official state duties are not personal gifts, they are received in the name of the people of Pakistan and the people have every right to know about these state gifts.
