Yes, you read that right. The English actor, who works in Bollywood, sported a cyan-gold saree by ace fashion designer Manish Malhotra in an Instagram reel shared on Monday. Her reel has now-viral remixed track playing in the background.
“Mera dil yeh pukaare aaja 🎶,” she captioned the video. Kat’s reel has been breaking the Internet since then.
It has amassed over 2.2 million likes since it was posted. The post has a little under 13,000 comments. Prominent among those who commented included Malhotra who dropped a trio of heart variety emojis. “💗💕💞,” he said in his comment.
The aforementioned trend kicked-off after Pakistani girl Ayesha became an Internet sensation following footage of her dancing to the track at a friend’s mehendi vent viral. She has become a minor celebrity since then. While reactions to her dance were mixed, scored have followed in her footsteps across both, India and Pakistan.
