In today’s episode of flagship Naya Daur’s show Khabar Seh Agey, senior journalist Amir Mir spoke about how both the Taliban and Imran Khan were created by the Pakistani military. As per Mir, if the military were unable to eradicate the Taliban then it was unlikely they would be able to remove Imran Khan as well.

Ijaz Ahmed on the other hand held the view that the PTI seemed to be playing a double game of sorts. On one hand the party was consistently blaming the Establishment and yet there are attempts to strike a deal behind the scenes. This was personified by Junoon singer Salman Ahmed who openly spoke about his meeting with General Faisal and yet heaped blame on him as well.

Lawyer Pansota held the view that if the FIR was not filed, it would go in the party’s favour as they could utilise this as an excuse to generate further support.

Flagship Naya Daur TV show Khabar Say Aagay streams every Monday to Saturday at 9pm.

Few questions arise Imran told CNN he had provided graphic details of this attack 2 months ago so he must be able to provide his source that he confessed are his sympathisers in the agencies so maybe an audio or something will soon be leaked.

If not then a second question arises that in the images Imran seems to be wearing a Kevlar vest under the shirt. Bullets were aimed at the metal plate. Splinter(s) from the metal plate hit his legs but not the torso. He was also whisked away from the seen and has a dubious medico-legal examination. Lastly the timing of the slow long march and the attack is just before the seminal core commanders meeting prior to this important change of guard.

Despite having lost the game almost 2 months ago it seems like pro Fascism elements want to play it till the last ball. First Arshad Sharif and now this attack. It raised too many questions. Also a recent survey suggests show is a flop as support for long march is low (only one-third) and majority is urging PTI to go back to parliament and wait for elections in 10 months.

One way or another by 1 December all dissent will be purged.
