Cape Monze Records Curates Music Compilation For Flood Relief
Karachi-based record label Cape Monze Records released a curation of songs from artists all over the world to raise funds for the floods that hit Pakistan earlier this year.

Titled 'Momentum', the compilation has 19 tracks featuring artists from all over the world. Some of the featured artists include Rudoh, Psytox, Measure Divide, TMPST, False Persona and Adlas.

100% of the proceeds from the sale of the album will go towards multiple organisations working on the ground providing medical care, shelter and the ongoing rebuilding process in flood hit areas of Pakistan.

Cape Monze Records is working with four Pakistan-based charities that are providing on-ground flood relief. The charities include Mama Baby Fund, Legal Aid Society, Edhi Foundation and ChildLife Foundation.

Pakistan has suffered through the deadliest floods in the world this year that have killed over 1200 people and affected 33 million of the population.

One third of the country currently stands under water and 80% of this agricultural countryʼs crops have been destroyed with winter and a food shortage looming ahead. Climate change has caused heavier than usual monsoon rains and melting glaciers that followed a severe heat wave.

Cape Monze Records is an electronic and indie music label based in Karachi, Pakistan. The label promotes forward-thinking music made primarily in the Asian subcontinent and beyond, and aims to support artists based out of their bedroom and home studios while providing a platform for them to release their music.
