Veteran Playwright Anwar Maqsood's Playful Jab At The Military Goes Viral On Twitter
Anwar Maqsood doesn't need to do much to prove that he's arguably one of the wittiest people in Pakistan. A new clip of him taking a playful jab at the military's interest in 'power play' has gone viral on Twitter, proving just as much.

In the viral clip, the legendary playwright can be seen addressing a hall full of people, ostensibly giving a speech as a chief guest at an event.

"I told Ramiz Raja that power play is very important in a T20 match," he began, continuing, "Instead of Babar Azam or Rizwan, let a Brigadier or a Colonel play the first six overs, because no one knows 'power play' better than the army."

His joke was met with roaring laughter from the crowd, as he went on, "And these people can very easily take someone out," referencing to the cricketing rules of out and not-out.

Since then, the clip has been making the rounds on Twitter with people appreciating the quick wittedness of Maqsood.
