Imran Khan 'Desperate' To Save Face: Nawaz Sharif
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif said on Monday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan was desperate to save face.

The PML-N supremo made the comments in a Twitter thread. Nawaz said he had instructed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif not to accept any demand of PTI chairman Imran Khan either. Nawaz said it was rich to note how a man who had claimed to collect one million supporters was struggling to lead less then 2,000 in connection with his long march. He said the people had distanced themselves from Imran since they had become well-acquainted with his tendency to regularly lie. Nawaz said Imran had proliferated a lie with such shamelessness that the DG ISI had to take the nation into confidence.

Nawaz said Imran had been unable to furnish a response to what the DG ISI had to comment despite the passage of days. He said Prime Minister Shehbaz must single-handedly focus on serving the people.

Imran had on Friday claimed “Dirty Harry” (Major General) Faisal and (Sector Commander) Faheem had been perpetuating tyranny in Islamabad. He made the remarks while addressing supporters before the PTI’s Long March to Islamabad commenced from Lahore’s Liberty Chowk.

Taking a potshot at DG ISI Nadeem Anjum, Imran said while the top spy had claimed the military remained aloof from politics, his presser was replete with it. The PTI chairman said the unprecedented media talk brimmed with more politics than a Sheikh Rasheed presser.
