He expressed that Ms. Naeem was an active and hardworking reporter, and prayed for the departed soul.

Shocked & deeply saddened by the terrible accident that led to the death of Channel 5 reporter Sadaf Naeem during our March today. I have no words to express my sorrow. My prayers & condolences go to the family at this tragic time. We have cancelled our March for today.

‘Mother of three daughters’

Hasan Raza, Deputy Bureau Chief, Dunya News urged financial support for the journalist, on the micro-blogging website.

“Sadaf Naeem was associated with Channel Five as a senior reporter. An extremely hardworking, humble, 14-hour active working woman. She has three daughters and all young kids,” he posted.

“This is an appeal to all well-to-do people to think about the future of her children and extend financial support to the family.”
